The International Pectinid Workshop is a volunteer led and hosted event. If you have a notion of where the next edition could be please reach out to us.

 

Requirements

To successfully host an edition of IPW a location will need:

  • a locally based host who can wrangle volunteers to help with a wide range of activities (logo, web site, t-shirts, program creation etc. etc)
  • a location that can comfortably handle the seminars, happy hours, poster sessions and banquets for 60-100 attendees.
  • nearby accommodations for attendees
  • ability to secure approximately $75,000 in grants, donations or in kind services to pay for everything.
